We will contact you in due course.

If you are applying for a Principal part you may want to download the Set Audition Piece(s).

We're not testing your memory so you don't have to learn it off by heart. Just be familiar with the piece in time for the audition.

Reading copies will be available on Audition nights.

Junior Chorus audition will consist of learning a simple song and dance routine* on the night.
Song sheets will be available, just be prepared for a bit of music and movement.

Please familiarise yourself with the pieces and decide on the characters for which you would like to be considered. You may be asked to read one passage or more. If you wish to be considered for more than one part please tell us when you apply or when you audition. We may only need to hear you speak one part. We can use this to inform us on other parts.

We are looking for:
Good characterisation
Appropriate ‘look’ and age in comparison to other cast members.
Ability to engage the audience /rapport if appropriate
Stage presence
Singing ability
[please let us know if you are willing to sing or not as songs are unlikely to be as written in the script and can be adjusted according to need].
Pronunciation, diction and accent
Volume
Eye contact with audience
Pace of delivery /timing
Ability to work as part of the team and take direction
Ability to commit to EVERY rehearsal when called
[Tuesdays and Fridays from September 2008]
Ability to commit to ALL performances [Fri 23, Sat 24 (x2), Fri 30, Sat 31 (x2) January 2009]

Please do not audition if you cannot make this commitment.
